Aaron Curtis
In 2006, Aaron joined MID-CO commodities as a commodity risk consultant.  He is responsible for providing grain market information, advice and the development of merchandising strategies to MID-CO’s grain elevator customers. Prior to joining MID-CO, he worked as a commodity broker for Bates Commodities, Inc. in Normal, Illinois.  While there, he specialized in individual marketing plans and trading for the farming community in addition to commodity trading for investors seeking a more diversified portfolio.  Prior to coming to Bates Commodities, he served as a facilities manager at the Assumption Cooperative Grain Company in Assumption, Illinois.
Aaron is also active in many community organizations.  Aaron has served as the President of the McLean County Ag Club.  He also is a past member of the McLean Co. Chamber of Commerce’s Ag Council.  Aaron was a past participant in the Illinois Agricultural Leadership Program.  He is active in his church, having served on both the finance and trustee committees. 
Aaron Curtis grew up on a wheat and hog farm in Kansas, and later lived in a farming community near Herscher, Illinois.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Illinois State University as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Illinois State University.
Aaron and his wife, Jamie, along with their three children, currently reside in Bloomington, Illinois.
